myspace versus facebook?!

Just a thought but was curious to see what you all thought, but what do you think is going to happen between facebook and myspace. What i have noticed is myspace got drenched with spam and many people switched to facebook BUT myspace still has a ton more members than facebook. Last i checked facebook had 17million and myspace had 70million... but each day the numbers grow by thousands but what do you all think? Will facebook rise above and squash myspace or vice versa? hmmm?

Thats a tough one, I would probably have to say myspace...but facebook might eventually catch up.

MyFailSpace? Myspace is stupid, Facebook is very nice, and clean. Has alot of features college kids use, instead of the kid stuff that myspace has & is filled with.

How many members do you think myspace really has?

I believe that probley 30%+ of members are spam where face book would be below 5% spam.

Personally i prefer Facebook, but i think that might be because i used that first. So i got used to that and then went on to Myspace and didn't like it.

I'm thinking about creating a new website called.....MyFace

I think it's obvious facebook wins this one both for the consumers and in terms of monetizing the business.

- Facebook has already been offered a billion dollars by yahoo. Myspace was bought for 540 million.
- Facebook has lots of different applications so you can control all the content on your page. Myspace is set so everyone has teh same shhit unless you want to change your background and pimp it out!
- Facebook has the ability to monetize the college market i.e. rental info, book exchange, credit cards, mobile apps... sky's the limit.
-Myspace is becoming a garage sale of free shit. It's full of junk.
-Facebook is more innovative and cares less about making money. Myspace is corporate (owned by rupert murdoch) and we all know corporations fuck all the fun up...
-In addition Facebook has strategic partnerships with IBM and Microsoft. Game over.

Myspace has past it's use by date for more than a year now.

I've never used facebook.

I'll go for MySpace. It is easy to use and lots of interesting stuffs but its needs to clean-up the spams.
