My website with content, and also the services I offer (StreetAlbums)

    Hi,

I recently made a thread about my website/business, and it had several replies, only recently it no longer exists. I have no idea why, all I can guess is that it has been removed for some reason, my apologies if I broke any of the forum rules, none of my actions which may have broke the rules were intentional.

I just plan to update everyone on the website and really, looking for some more advice.

Now, I was told that I should fill my site with content which would appeal to the audience I am trying to reach, this I have done, it is ready to launch on the 20th of this month... however, I offer services such as mixtape hosting, artist promotion and also production and mixing... I wanted to make these more exclusive but also apparent to artists, how would I go about acheiving this on my website...

    the website link is streetalbums.com/index2.php

I have links in the "official affiliates" to my services, also a link in the main menu to "artist register", where I plan to have a section strictly for artists, but I would also like to incorporate the services into pages such as the featured single, featured artist, and interview also... would the best form, be through a banner advert on the pages? or is there any other suggestion which you might have?

I appreciate any advice, many thanks.

    Twinn

(note, some of the pages may not work on the website, as we are currently rebuilding it.)

    Thankyou.

I am currently promoting it through various different techniques, one is simply word of mouth, the other is with the use of social networking sites, youtube and also by creating a mixtape series which is titled "StreetAlbums.com Presents - We're Loud In The Streets!" ... so far, all seem to be working, considering the main site isnt open as of yet.

I have already seen an increase of over 50% in regards to our visitor numbers, and that is even before this month is up

I think, the best way, would be through the use of banner ad's, advertising the services on the different pages, without making it obvious that it is "streetalbums.com" who is providing these services, until the banner is clicked, and from there they can request for a services & fee list and also our portfolio... hopefully, as a result creating a more exclusive feel to the website.

Please let me know your thoughts, many thanks,

    Twinn

    Thankyou for all the comments.

At the moment liquidx, we provide what the client needs, whether it be as a digital download or as hard copies.

As for targeting my local area, I already know this wouldn't be beneficial to me, in the last 3-4 years in which I have really taken this business seriously, all of my clients and business has come from the United States. I think the reason being is that the United States (hip hop) and the United Kingdom (hip hop) are two very different genres in their own respect and I know that the type I create and work with most defiantly fits the US scene.

A quick question... does anyone have any good advice for me on creating banner ads? in order for me to advertise my services I offer on my website? (I looked online, but the advice on google wasn't all that great) thanks.
