    My opinion

I read a lot on this forum and other sites of people who want to just buy junk off alibaba, throw up a website and think they can make a million dollars. Are these people truly entrepreneurs or just people wanting to make money? And do you really think your really going to be better than competition like amazon and will people trust your site? I say to these people you need to get money out of your mind and think of a legit business.

too much anger you have young jedi

trust is an issue in ecommerce AND online forums.

why not take a page out of your playbook, put together an online resume, and cut the anonymous declarations of "I know better", for others to really benefit from your most insightful analysis

I agree with biz1... there's too many people here set on get rich quick schemes. I wouldn't call them true entrepreneur's just because some idiot like kiyosaki is talking a bunch of bullcrap down their ear making them think they are actual entreprenuers, or all those MLM schemes, etc.

I'm sorry if I have "too much anger" but it just frustrates me when others are trying to make true products or services and others just want to dropship some discount rolexes.

You can make money from alibaba.com if you do market research. There is that guy who made cuffdaddy.com and plenty of others.

You have to have a little bit of insight and do a lot of research, but there are plenty of areas that have not been tapped.

Why be angry at them? Its better for these people to learn and experiment with a failed business then just sit there for perhaps years thinking of a legit business.

Buying products from alibaba and trying to make money is exactly what I'll be doing soon. Its an experiment so I can learn.

Wake up! Do you realize that just about everything sold in America is made or originated in China. This is where the profit is.

Think about it. China's minimum wage is next to nothing, and producing products there is extrememly cheap due to low labor costs and cheap raw materials. This is how profit works. Buy low, sell high.

What American worker do you know that will work for the same wage as a Chinese factory worker? None! When you deal on Alibaba, you deal with a middleman that knows the companies and products. His service keeps you from having to go to China and research everything for yourself.

I would pay a markup for that service anyday of the week. All entrepreneurs are dreamers. And we all learn from mistakes. But alibaba is a great resource if you know how to use it safely and wisely.

You should really get off the anger trip and reinvest that energy into learning more about business models.

    I don't get anything.

And Saadh you can also learn plenty from getting a 9 to 5 job. Yeah you may learn but you will also lose money too.

I'm just expressing my opinion on this get rich quick, non-entrepreneurs.

Okay RELAX. I've got nothing against alibaba. Some people may be able to make a legit brick and mortar type of business and sell great products. There is just so many people out there making a site with frontpage and clip art and think people are really going to but products from them.
