Okay, i got the payment from paypal. So i transferred the domain. 15mins after i get the payment paypal F***ing holds the payment for review.. They then withdraw it from my account and tell me it was an unauthorized transaction. But when we called paypal, they couldn't give us details on what form of unauthorization occurred. They told us there were various forms. So how can they take money out of my account and not tell me why it was unauthorized! Can i sue?

I don't see why it would take them 15minutes after the fact that i received the payment to hold the funds.

I'm sure this does not help now... but anytime you are selling an item over $50 like this you need to use www.escrow.com so you can avoid these types of situations. Where did you find the buyer? If it was from a forum at least make sure you report it to the admins so they can ban the user.... this kind of stuff happens all the time and paypal could care less about you...

Also, i called the number affiliated with the current whois and he said that he has'nt been on a computer in months. Do you think Godaddy can send the domain back to me with that information?

Then godaddy should be able to help you. You need to call them back and file an online complaint. Do not let up on them.

Okay, well my dad is the Captain of the PA State Police and this is what he told me most likely happened.

Due to Canada's laws, they don't give much a crap about what goes on. So there was most likely a team of people who set me up to get my domain. The paypal account owner, who lives in Canada, and the "buyer" who, through his chat, seemed like he/she was from a foreign country. This is what they do... The buyer sets up a plan to buy the domain, and sends the funds to your account. He gives you bogus phone numbers etc for when you change the domain account info. After the domain is transfered, paypal holds the funds (not sure how they get them to do that) and paypal sends the funds back to the buyer. Leaving me without any money and without a domain. Since my dad works for the government, he is helping me find a way to screw these two over. I requested to get their IP address from SitePoint and we'll go from there.
