Multi level marketing - 8k a week? Scam or not?

    Hello There,

I have friends one part of this forum who are all rushing to sign up to these programs for under $20.

    Referring 3 people who also refer 3 = 8k a week apparently.

Has anyone signed up to something like this? is it a scam? a lot of people suggest yes but then alot otherwise.

    Regards

If scams were measured in terms of TNT equivalent-

    I'd say that's about 25 Megatons.

Without any need to explain, and for many reasons, I am going to say:
Do not waste your time. Focus your time and energy on a legit and tangible business. Unless you are the initial creator of an MLM that catches, you are simply another fool who thinks they can make money from a simple ranking position. This is perfect for someone who cannot run a business.

Ever wonder why drug dealers do what they do? They stand on the corner, at high risk, earning next to nothing - Why?

Because there is one guy on top, making all the money. The little drug dealers risk their lives, earning nothing, because the promise of being the guy on top. Of course, none of them ever make it (if they make it through alive)

This same is true of MLM

STAY AWAY. Do as deansutton says.

What you posted ,in my opinion, is all marketing hype. However, although I am not involved in MLM, I believe MLM is a great way to get involved with starting your own business. MLM has a bad reputation, but if you find a reputable company and actually work the system, you can make a great income.

I personally know a few individuals who bring in 100k a year from MLM. They have been involved in the company they are with for a while, and they work the system.

So, for people to say all MLM is a scam, is very close-minded.

From my experience with MLM, less than 20$, just refer 3, make 8K/week sounds like a sham.

Network marketing gets its bad name from startups like these.

But, at the same time, just because there are false representations/illegitimate MLM companies and programs doesn't mean that MLM in itself is not legitimate.

Was Enron a MLM company? No. Were they committing illegal business practices? Yes.

There are always going to those who try to exploit others through many different business models, including MLM.

Any MLM company that promises high income within a short time up front is probably not built on a strong product and doesn't practice sounds business principles.

To really earn the walk-away incomes like 10K a week in a MLM usually takes about 4 years to build.

Stay away from that particular program, but if you are interested in gaining some tremendous entrepreneurial experience, developing valuable relationships and building an income at the same time, then finding a SOLID Network Marketing opportunity is probably a great way to go.

    But
, be prepared to work hard, learn from mistakes that you will inevitably make, and give tremendous effort before you expect any substantial income.

If you have any other questions or want more information about MLM, feel free to reply here or PM me.

I hope that I've offered some information for you that helps you make your decision.
