Legal issues with feature cars in your mag

Are there legal issues with featuring cars in a mag that you sell to bookstores? For example Road and Track features the latest vehicles in their mag. Do they need the approval of auto manufacterers before they can feature their cars in their mag since they will be selling their mag for a profit? If so then wouldn't it cost a fortune to license every vehicle?

What about a site that charges a monthly subscription fee for repair information on a particular vehicle? Would that vehicle need to be licensed from the manufacterer?

The copyright is on the picture, not the car.
For example if you took a picture of the Empire State Building. You don't have to pay the building owners to use their building for the picture.

Yea I did the same thing on my site earlier with restaurants. As long as you use your own pictures and your own content, you don't need anyone's permission. Good luck!

what are trying to start exactly?

Yeah! They are all correct. So, nothing to worry if the pictures are your own. Good luck!
