Monthly Sales Projection

I was just wondering how you are supposed to figure out your monthly sales projections(and any projections for that matter) if you haven't even started your company yet and have no idea how much you are going to make?

Look at previous market studies for similar products if available.

I see. First off, where would/how could I find these market studies for similar products. And once I find these how would I use these? Would I just assume that mine would be the same?

You would take in consideration your location, your demographics, pricing. You can't assume that yours would be the same because your variables are different.
