Hey people i am interested in starting a mobile phone business.
This will consist of selling phones outright and on plans.
I want to set up a kind of all phones business where i can sell plans for a list of different network providers.
Has anyone imported mobiles before? i have also had some trouble finding legitimate business who export from Australia. (There are so many scammers out there)

Does anyone have any experience with this industry?

Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

I'm in the mobile phone business (T-Mobile Corporate). While the industry is very competitive, there is always opportunity. Do you plan on having an actual store or sell online?

I believe your toughest issue will be consumers who just want the dirt cheapest (usually free) phone. Over the years I've been doing this, your most loyal customers will be the ones who don't mind spending alittle if you give them great service. The sale doesn't end when they sign up for new service, that's just when the relationship begins.

do you have a web page? also where do you source your phones from? locally or over seas?

Is there much money in selling just headsets? i see all these people on ebay selling thousands of them. and just wonder what kinda cash there making.

What country did you try to start your business in?

What type of set up costs did you encure?

WHat type of profit magins did you expect to make, and what did you auctually make.
