    Mobile Juice/Smoothie Business

Hey guys, I had a question about starting my own Juice/Smoothie business. I wanted to do this in one of those catering trucks so I can relocate to different places. The question I had about this business is if I need any type of license or permit to do these sorts of business where there is no permanent address. Thanks all in advance.

    Hi Caito,

Correct me if I'm wrong, but a business is a business and regardless you must still register with the state. If your are earning money, you must pay taxes.
There also has to be an address where correspondence can be mailed, hence this would be your permanent business address, even though you are mobile.
Because you are dealing with food, you have to be approved by the board of health.
The firm I work for handles the start-up of new businesses. It costs about $500 + your state filing fees. Included in that $500 is your 1/2 consultation. Please look at our website (found in my signature). Should you have any questions please feel free to PM me or call me at the office.

    Good Luck

    Lisa
