The man has a long 18th century Victorian moustache and a monocle. His selling point is that if you eat his vegetables you will activate a dormant gland in your inner ear called the Cochleocaposeum which will allow you to project your consciousness to any point in spacetime. What he has failed to mention is that you will interact only with beings constructed wholly from dark-matter who are known to be somewhat agressive towards pandimensional travellers from Earth.
