    Mind Set!

    YE,
I've been thinking a lot lately about what separates those with higher incomes and wealth from those with lower income and no wealth. I've came to the conclusion that it's simply mindset. At first I related wealth to education but there's probably more if not an equal amount of wealthy people with limited education than there is with higher education. I'm not including inherited wealth. I mean those who have worked hard and built their wealth from the ground up. In researching this I have came across many books that mention mindset but none actually give clear directions or even quality tactics on changing mindset. My question is, do you think mindset is important? How would you describe your mindset and how did you develop it? Is your mindset ever changing or is it constant? If you've learned something that changed your mindset for the better what was it? And the Million Dollar question how would you suggest developing a Millionaire Mindset?

    Thanks for your responses!

    Mindset

    Hello,

I absolutely agree that your mindset is what separates the wealthy from everyone else. I just started reading about the same subject a few months ago, and I definitely recommend Secrets of the Millionaire Mind. The author explains how our attitudes about money which we learned about during our childhood affects the decisions we make today regarding money. My mindset now is to learn how the wealthy think and copy what they do and success will soon follow.

    Mind Set

That is a great book. In fact I have the motivational cards on my Ipod touch. The more I research Mindsets the more I believe it to be the key to wealth and success. I recently read "The Richest Man in Babylon. This book is a perfect demonstration of the power of mindsets. It even gives you a glimpse on how to create a wealth based mindset. Throughout our lives we've been told that we can do anything we put our mind to, and science has proven how powerful the mind really is. Most themes such as "The secret" core focus is mindset. Although not many tell how to shape mindset, I think it's through knowledge and absorbing the mindsets of those you are seeking to achieve (Like you mentioned). My goal is to take pieces of the best mindsets and merge them together. What other books have you read or pieces of knowledge have gained that has changed your mindset?
