    Meeting my supplier...HELP

Ok so i'm just getting started with a new venture and i will be meeting with a fairly large supplier next week. I have never dealt with larger type manufacturers and i need to know what to expect during the meeting. For example, would they expect to see a business or marketing plan? Should i be concerned with trying hard to impress them? I mean after all, i am the one spending the money. Should i bargin on a first meeting etc.. I'm sure some of you out there know exactly what i am talking about. Any help would be appreciated.

If they are the supplier then you need not worry about showing them a business plan. They are trying to sell to you so they are the ones that have to impress. I always say whoever is the money man is the one who has the power. That means that you are the one who dictates what happens.

Thanks, thats what i figured. Some of the suppliers i have contacted previously have refused to supply quotes without my business name and knowing every possible detail. At first i thought it was snobbery but i guess they are looking out for competitors.
