I like a online-guerrilla marketing tactic for small businesses with lower marketing budget. I used a combination of Google Adwords (make sure you know the low cost methods, such as using negative keywords and going after niche phrases) with search engine optimization of your website (including bartering for incoming links, etc). Just starting to implement this on my new company -- Elevate Printing -- but worked like a charm with the last company.
