Marketing for my dry clean franchise

Hello everybody although we have not franchised our business that is our long term goal, there are 5 drop off stores and 1 plant. We have some solid contracts with our local police but its fairly new.

I was thinking of approaching retirement homes and condos and trying to make a deal with them. Anybody have any ideas that would be great thanks.

How about getting your business out in front of people so they know about it? Get articles written about it and learn how to get free advertising, or advertising that cost so little that it’s worth it.

What about direct marketing around the neighborhood you are located.

Offer a free dry clean for your first visit or something along those lines. I can guarantee you that would get me in.

Also, have the option to get your dry cleaning done in one day. I used to go to a place that would require a minimum of like 3 days to get stuff done, however now I go to a place that does it in a day.

I only have so many suits and shirts, I cant have one tied up for 3 days.

True, a quicker service would always attract more customers. Good ideas you got there!

Approach places that would need your services. Retirement and nursing homes are a good idea, but I would look to branch out into the business areas. Many small service businesses who use uniforms need someone to clean them. I worked with a company once, and we suggested they target places before they open, such as a casino that was being built. If you can get a contract with these businesses, you can lock in money for the future, and that's exactly what your looking for.

Could try looking for expansion around where you are, such as area covered. Just a suggestion.

    Best of luck!

Think big! What about corporate office buildings. Corporate business people need dry cleaning services and are all very pressed for time.
    Good Luck
