1) No matter how smart you are, there's always someone else in this world who's smarter than you
I know, I know. But there's only like a 1 in 6 billion chance of finding that guy. And then I have to convince him (yeah, I said him) to take me on as a student. Maybe, someday, I will be number one smartie in whole world. For now though, I'll have to make due with being the second smartest person in the world.

Good grief quinnie, no one ever said this was a smart/stupid issue. It's about having real world business experience. And yes, I think I did need to state things in the strongest possible terms to get you to take off your rose colored glasses. Sometimes that is necessary.

johnbears,
Never did I say you guys have any bad intentions by giving me negative feedbacks from the idea.
EntrePre,
haha deja vu, one time I went out with 2 guy friends, one guy kept telling me he's the smartest guy that I've had known (in front of my other guy friend). I said "no you're not", then he kept asking me who it was and I said "some other guy that I knew", he went on and claimed, then "I'm the second smartest person that you know". I had a very good laugh and so did my other guy friend of mine. He had no idea he was making a fool of himself

Hey Quinnie,

Akula was right the question and journey, since you believe that this business venture in online groceries can work, is: Is there any evidence that online groceries is a good idea?

You have gotten alot of feedback, a second, third, fourth, and so on, and so on opinions, that gear toward a business model like this not being successful, and it sounds like you are still in the hunt to make it work.

No one here in this forum is tryin' to discourage you and your dreams, maybe there are some who-been-there-and-done-that, or you may be thinking 'what didn't work for others might just work for me' either way we are here to help you in making an educated decision on any opportunity that may rise.

If there's any other members who would like to give Quinnie feedback it will be much appreciative.

The craziest thing about this is that you arent even a grocery store, your a delivery service. Most online grocery stores carry an inventory and delvier their own stock. You want to just go to stores and hunt for the best prices. Its like me saying I own a toy store, but instead of carrying inventory when someone orders a PSP I run out to the local toy stores and charge them the cheapest price I can find. Its such an inefficient supply chain. Like it was said before noone thinks your stupid, but this is such a misguided idea. You have missed an important factor in what you are doing, you aren't providing an alternative rather you are compressing the chain for the consumer's benefit.
