Making the Leap: Quiting your Full-time job

This morning I was sent an article from a guy on our management team, a former director of The Planet, about making the jump in quitting your full-time job. The author is a new client of theirs and has seen success with their new startup.

The article is really good and provides some well thought out advice for those thinking about making the leap, but are struggling to do so. It is pretty long so I didn't want to paste it here, but I posted it on my blog here:

I think this is an excellent article. I have 2 day jobs and I'm getting into my own thing...everyday I feel like just quiting those other jobs and I know I'm not quite financially stable enough to do so. This article really helped me understand when I should do that. Thank you so much for your helpful insight.

haha...I don't know how smart it was of your managment team to distribute an article about "quitting your full time job" to employees. Maybe thats what some of these companies with huge layoff should do first, huh? Send out that artical, and see who quits first before they have to lay them off. jk
