Charities in Crisis
Many worthwhile charities constantly struggle for staff, volunteers, and sufficient money to make their good works possible. The days of bake sale fundraisers are over as the cost of giving continues to spiral upwards. However, how many $200/plate dinners can donors be expected to attend even in an age of increased philanthropy?
Successful charity events are innovative, clever, and entertaining but expensive to produce. Golf tournaments, although popular, consume thousands of volunteer man-hours while barely breaking even given the fickleness of Alberta weather and the costs involved.
The Venturion Fund is committed to donating millions to charity in the next 3-4 years to ease their monthly cash flow challenges. Our aggressive art leasing program will give benefactors something tangible in return for their money and provide investors with a significant return. Almost 1/3 of every dollar collected will find its way into the hands of a selected charity without the need for fundraising or a massive investment in volunteer man-hours.
Instead of giving hundreds of hours and/or thousands of dollars away, concerned benefactors can now make a purchase of beautiful original art at less than its appraised value. Over the next 12-24 months art owners will get every dollar back from a monthly revenue stream. Once fully compensated the revenue stream can be redirected to any charity putting $100,000 - $1,000,000 into their hands while the art owner receives a charitable tax receipt in return.
Generous giving has never been this easy or this profitable. Venturion has created a unique win/win program that benefits charities and benefactors alike.
The Heart of Art
Shwan Ziware’s original works hang in art houses and galleries around the world. Born in Southern Iraq of Kurdish descent he has experienced the decimation of his family during the attempted genocide of Kurds in the early 80’s. He fled to Canada settling in Toronto where he continues to paint in his 6000 sq ft studio near the Pearson Airport.
Shwan has been in over 50 exhibitions in Italy, Canada and the United States. His works are part of the Canadian Museum of Civilizations as well as other prestigious collections. He is part of a select group of artists featured in the Mercurious art publications catalogue annually.
During his years of study in Italy, Shwan was attracted to several artists, in particular Bori, Tapiés and Miró—and later to the American abstract painters of the group Action Painting and Willem de Kooning. While systematically copying the works he admired to discover their secrets he continued to improvise adding unusual materials such as coffee, wine, nail polish, vinyl tiles and photographic paper.
He has essentially two approaches in his art: the first pays particular attention to the composition of the painting; the second, more playful, is inspired by popular Arab culture.
Shwan brings together, not only motifs and symbols, but also sayings and expressions, such as "The eye of the envious does not prevail" or "Don't follow me, I'm engaged," that recall scenes of daily life in the Middle East, the prevailing ambience of working-class neighbourhoods, and the inscriptions seen on taxis, buses and motorcycles, which make the passer-by smile. Not compelled to follow the rules of traditional or modern Arab calligraphy, nor those of classical painting, he makes the letters and colours dance joyfully right up to the painting's frame.
Patron Program
Where Passion Meets Purpose
Charities are in crisis and can no longer get the money they need simply by holding out their hat, even with a tax receipt. The cost of running Calgary’s 4,000 non profit organizations has escalated. Although there is more money available there is also more competition.
Fundraising has become increasingly complicated and expensive. The results are not guaranteed or dependable and charities risk losing money on them.
There is a new philanthropy sweeping the nation. A new breed of Patrons. They want and expect more for their charitable dollar. They want to be engaged, entertained, and an active participant.
Welcome to venture philanthropy. Where Passion meets Purpose.
Venturion’s Patron Program is designed to provide significant and sustainable monthly revenues to charity while providing patrons an appreciating asset and substantial ROI. People should be amply rewarded for being part of the solution and not part of the problem.
The process is simple.
In Phase one Patrons purchase a $55,000 asset for $38,500 giving them access to lease revenue from the next phase.
In Phase two the asset is duplicated creating a significant lease inventory which is provided to charities across North America for them to market to their business supporters.
Businesses lease this inventory for as little as $200 a month on a 3 year lease with $50 going to the charity (25%).
Charities simply send out information kits on the product while Venturion does all the follow up, leasing, and product delivery. Although we will have 75,000 leases in total, individual charities may only have 250-300 in any given geographical area.
This will provide monthly revenues to the charity of $12-15,000. It will also provide $4,167 per month to the Patron for a total return of $150,000 over approximately 48-60 months, plus they keep the original asset.
It is expected that some Patrons will redirect all or part of this monthly fee to another charity once they have recouped their initial investment allowing them to own the asset at no cost and create a monthly tax receipt offsetting other income.
One year’s revenue of $4,167 a month is a 23% ROI on $38,500. If the remaining two years revenue were redirected to charity then each Patron would contribute $100,000 to that cause earning the tax receipt.
For many charities that creates a passive cash flow which exceeds what they can net from expensive and time consuming fund raising allowing precious volunteer and staff time to be focused on the business of charity and not the charity of business.
Patrons do not need to be rich to take advantage of this program. Most average families have at least $50,000 available in their home equity especially given recent increases in Alberta property values. A $50,000 Line of Credit (LOC) would have interest costs of $300 a month yet could return many times that in income. Patrons can profit by up to $100,000 by accessing the passive value currently lying unproductive in their home.
This is a sound financial strategy even if the Patron Program is not used and is explained in detail in many financial and investment books. However few opportunities have this degree of monthly return or asset security. Ask for your free copy of “Bridging the Wealth Gap” from the Venturion office or talk to our in-house mortgage consultant Evette.
There has never been a better win/win process to maximize charity revenue while putting significant profits into the hands of patrons. We have a very limited number of positions available for this unique program and they are going fast. We will be sold out in a few months so don’t let procrastination let you miss this opportunity.
This may not be for you but get all the information you can as soon as possible. Make an informed choice. It may be just what you have been looking for. Making a profit while making a difference.
