Smile Make a million with a little creativity!!!

I've come to realize that advertising opportunities for small and large companies alike is becoming a very profitable venture for an entrepreneur who can offer this service for little or no money. I've noticed in the past year or so, that opportunities that have arisen like this have really payed off...

Last year there was the guy who tattooed his head with a company logo on ebay..

Then there was the teen who sold a million pixels of advertising space at 1 dollar a pixel. It amazed me how he virtually turned an 8 x 11 piece of paper into a million dollars.

My whole point to this is that simplistic unique ideas, that are totally outside the box have the potential to make millions on the internet, if they are given the right exposure. They have to beneficial to a lot of companies or individuals and be offered at a low price, so the risk is much less than the reward.

I'm creating this thread, so people can throw out the most ridiculous ideas they have on how companies get massive exposure for less than 20 or 100 bucks. And all of us entrepreneurs can give them feedback...

So go ahead, I want to hear something ridiculous. Who knows, it could just make you a millionaire...

You are talking about where to get lowest CPM (cost per thousand).

That would be search advertising because the CPM is free.

That said, lowest CPM is not the ideal situation. You want lowest CPA (cost per action).

As far as I know, search advertising also has the lowest CPA.

That said, for entrepreneurs not willing to spend cash on search marketing, they would have to resolve to more expensive CPA options, but those which don't burn cash.

That means, putting the shoes on and hitting the pavement to go speak with customers.

Wow. So, let me get this straight. milliondollarhomepage.com was invented by some guy, he charged a dollar a pixel for ads and sold out. I mean there is nothing to that, except for a little creative genius. Truly amazing.

I don't understand why anybody would want to advertise on milliondollarhomepage.com, its a website with just adverts on it, a veiwer to the site is not going to click on hundreds and hundreds of adverts.
Impulse avertising is so much more effective; your on a website looking for a certain thing, you see an advert on that site for that thing £10 cheaper than anywhere else, so you click on it.

Well Alex still has hundreds/thousands (who knows) of people coming back wanting to read his blog updates. His website has turned him into a celebrity. People may be over the MDHP, but they still want to know what he is doing next.

after reading up a bit on this guy, it seems that much of the success of his milliondollarhomepage.com website came through clever blogging word-of-mouth, not to mention the novelty of the idea, and that is what drew people there. Many of the companies that advertised on his site reported immediate surges in traffic to their site. I think the originality of the idea is what drove it to success in the first place, and the fact that in the grand scheme of things, it's a very small investment on an ad for most of those companies.

However, one thing that I really take from all this is that the internet is still in a relatively infantile stage, and though it may seem to many that it has become overcrowded, just imagine 40-50 years from now. Crazy ideas like milliondollarhomepage.com can flourish. There's so much opportunity online still, and we are lucky to live in the age that it all began.
