A New feature is added to http://www.earnFM.com .
"Machine Independent Favorties". You have Internet Browser Favorites at your home machine. But it is accessible only from your home machine. What if you need these favorites at work?
This new feature would allow the earnFM user to access the favorites from any machine in the world.

What do you think about this feature?

ooh. There is already a site like this.
But I guess thats ok. There is a difference. They install activex on your browser and earnFM doesnot. I guess it is uncomfortable to have an activex installed for me.
Also, the main business for earnFM.com is to give points/GIftcards/Airmiles for search and website visits. So adding favorites is just to enhance the product so that they could use the website more and more

your paid to search thing, on another hand, might have legs. but it's not clear as to how serious you are for making yours a successful company.

Its ok that there are more sites like this. The cause of the site is to pay for their searches and URL visits. This is just an added feature so that the user feels more convinent to use the website.
Thats a weird question. "How serious I am to make this company successfull?". I am prety serious.

Actually there are already sites who do favorites, but I think your purpose is to give the users an ease of use to your site.I think this should work for your type of application. My suggestion would be that you should give points the user so that he would use favorites. My 2 cents..

I use Delicious alot... It could definitely use renovating, and alot of other things that I can't mention for various reasons.

However, I don't think it should be the sole focus of any business, more like an ad-on to compliment something (thus the Yahoo acquisition).

Also, you're poll is skewed.

The concept definitely works... Your second option shouldn't be "Don't think this concept will work." ... I think when people vote for that option, what they are really saying is "We don't think you can innovate the idea beyond other services".

The non-use of ActiveX shouldn't be your innovation -- 99% of people don't know or don't care about ActiveX.
