    Love Everyday Organization

Hey guys, check this out. A good friend I met from one of his presentations owns a company with a great cause. Mike Mendes sells shirts with 100% of all proceeds going directly to the homeless across Canada.

This is the heart of entrepreneurship right here. A person who starts a business to help others, no catch. Buy a shirt and help someone out this winter. Beautifully designed shirts by Mike Mendes himself. $20 can buy someone a meal, or a blanket, or even a new jacket.

Love Everyday : Clothing for a Cause is the website. Check it, and send Mike some feedback if you're touched by his storey, thats all he needs.

    Thanks

I think it's great if that's what the guy wants to do, but calling it the heart of entrepreneurship is quite the stretch.

possibly, but giving back to the community or helping others in need is never overrated.
maybe i worded it wrong. i was just saying that here is someone that just decided to give 100% back to the individuals who are overlooked, ignored and walked by on a daily basis. this is a type of entrepreneur who doesn't ask for anything back but a smile is sometimes what we miss in our communities. and an entrepreneur who does this should get recognition.
and i am just trying to spread the word.

This is really great, thanks for sharing! This is what being a entrepreneur is really about, giving back. This organization shows that you don't have to be wealthy to give back, when your passionate about business, you find ways to give back.

Although this type of thing is popular these days, it actually is not entrepreneurship at all, this is a non-profit "social enterprise"

hope this guy isn't paying taxes
