    Los Angeles Store Rent

I was wondering if anyone knew a few examples of monthly rent for a storefront in L.A. in a nicer part of town. I know its astronomical but i was just curios.

    store front

Dont know about LA, but in Riverside, a 2000 sqr ft restaurant in a nice plaza with great traffic is about $8000 a month. something half that size would be around $5000. Depending on the neighborhood but i'd expect LA to be pricier than Riverside. Hope this helps.

    average rent downtown is $40 psf (so 2000 sf would be 2000 * 40 / 12 =6667 / month)

Wow, thanks guys. That was really informative. I don't have any real specifics, i was just pondering a possible venture that would only work in upscale west coast towns.
