Looking to bounce some ideas around.

So one of my ideas isn't really original to start...its a Juice/Smoothie/Slushy Stand at festivals.

As I said this isn't going to attract a huge market as its almost a daily thing now to see a Juice stand.

So to make this a bit more personal and make people remember me at festivals so I get more feedback which will eventually lead to bigger festival contracts I want to provide another item to lure in the punters.

Option 1: I spoke to a man about a dog and he can get me these funky speaker cup holders made that basically are a cube on the bottom that is a speaker then has the parts coming up from the top to make it a cup holder. After import duty and tax these will cost about $3.00 each with my logo printed on them.
Obviously this drives prices up but it can be marketed in the correct way e.g. Buy a Speaker cup holder and get the smoothie half price etc.
i figured these would be a hit for the night time so people can play music in there tent area.

option 2: tshirts with faces like these - but more UK Festival ish so like faces that represent drunk etc and sell those with my drinks.

    What do you guys think?
If you were at a music festival would you like either of these products?
Would either of these grab your attention more than a normal juice vendor?

Ehh, I'd never buy the speaker cup thing. The sound quality on that kind of crap is terrible. The t-shirts might be cool.. but why not just open up a t-shirt stand then?

    Cheers for the advice.

The speaker quality would have to be crap as I have spoken to a festival organizer who said if I provided loud speakers they would never accept me because if I sold a larger amount say 500 it would cause issues of 500 speakers going of at 5am waking anyone asleep up and causing arguments but i get where your coming from.

i was thinking about just doing a t shirt stand but theres already so many at festivals that loads get turned away each year because they don't have a big enough range of tops etc. Also They'd be so cheap that I could have a funky design plus my juicebar logo so its free advertising as well. Customers would feel they get more for there money as well. Prices on drinks are so hign att festivals (in the UK anyway) that you tend to pay about 8 - 10 pounds per smoothie at the big events. I could sell at same price but attract more of the customers that are inticed by the tops as well as get the advertising.

I have started my own t-shirt business, let me tell you it is a tough market to crack, but go to t shirt forums and you can get some real advice, with manufactuing, design etc. I live in the UK and all of my t-shirts were quite funky and different and had alot of meaning, if you are going to do it, you have to target such a specific market as it is so competitive. Faces, slogans, joke t shirts, all been done, but maybe at festivals they may be a hit, keep the designs different but make sure they all have the same of something so it is obvious without looking at the label that they are your label!

    Hey thanks for the advice.
It is defo a super tough market which is why I don't want to target that market specifically.

I've come up with a further idea of how to implement the tops. Instead of just selling them i'd give 1 out with the 1st drink they buy then if they buy another drink wearing the top they will get a stamp then after 5 stamps they get a free slushy.
obviously cant do that idea everywhere but I think it would be a hit at festivals??
