Looking for something I can do from my comp

My job is slow right now and I can't really rely on it's income alone. I've been trying to get an online income for a while but never really found my niche.
I'm 19 years old and have about 20-30 free hours a week that I can spend working on something.

I need some advice as to where I should start looking for an online income. Adsense sounds good and I've heard of affiliate marketing, are these things I should look into?

I don't have any skills that I'm great at but I know how to create basic websites, and some moderate php and mysql skills. I've tried doing freelance projects on bidding websites, but never had much luck.

If anyone could toss out some ideas or steer me in the right direction that would be great, thanks.

    Hey there,

I actually am working on a project that I will be needing help with. Not too much would be required of you. If you're interested, PM me and we can go over some details.

Why do you think the freelance attempt did not work out? Was it too competitive, or do you need to develop your coding skills a bit more first? Or, perhaps you tried the wrong site?
I run a home-based computer repair business, and look forward to helping others start a computer business.

Well mostly it was too competitive. My coding skills are limited that was another thing, I can only do simple HTML pages and some PHP and mySQL and a little VB but nothing much. I mostly do graphics, but theirs even more competition their.

I'm not really looking to get back into doing freelance work, I'm more looking for something like making money with adwords.
