Hi, I run a small graphic design company. We can definately help you with a logo design.
But, let me step up onto my soap box We are graphic designers, and have devoted years to learning the craft. Asking a designer to create work for you 'for experience' is just like asking a lawyer or mechanic to do your work for free and for experience. A good designer needs to keep up with trends and continually keep learning new software and techniques to stay ahead of the masses. A good design involves business research, demographic analysis, color forcasting, etc, and boils it down. A designer deserves to be paid for the work they put in.

That being said, if you want somebody who will make you a design that looks decent but doesn't really add anything to your business have a look on ebay and pay somebody $20 or $30 for a logo. From a business standpoint you do get what you pay for.
