My name is Kevin Riley I'm with Sage-Tech,LLC out of Warsaw, Indiana. A small business working in the computer industry. Now my question to you all out there is this.

My partner and I are looking into starting a side business and we need the capital from outside investors to get it started. Now i know there is a millon and one sites, but honestely I would love to hear from some of you out there that have went down this path. Would love to hear ideas, thoughts, where to start. We have the idea we just want to make sure we dont get burnt on the way to the bank.

Mainly looking for thoughts about where to start via online or in the real world contacting via telephone or in person. Two the approach steps we should cover before we even start to think about contacting a investor. Three any horror stories from some of you small business owners on investoers and etc..
