Looking for feedback on a new site

    Hi,

I recently formed a web design and development company and we just released a site called ePartyGuide.com. This is a place where you can read and write reviews on local bars, night clubs, restaurants ect. I am looking for an general feedback you might have on the site. I am also hoping that while you are at the site you might write a review or two of a business near you. Thanks everyone!

    Yeah, its not bad.

I really believe some ajax should be used for the search form, to assist people, but i do like it.

eg have a look at http://www.mytickets.com.au/

    Party Site!

    Hello Joe!

I visited your new site. It is a nice looking site.

The navegation could be improve by positioning the categories in a better way.

I visited the Miami area bars because that's where I live and found a collection of every single club here.

I think that if you like to make more of an impact with your site, maybe you should be a little bit more selective. Not just to include everything possible, but to include only what in your opinion are the best of the best.

That's my opinion about your great idea.
Hope it works well for you.

Next time I am going out, I will visit your site for advice.
    bye.

The homepage could be a little more appealing. The other pages could also use a picture or two, and maybe even some flashy club promotional flyers that catch peoples attention. Check out this similar site for some ideas. http://www.7days7nights.com/urban/index.php

If you find the time you should probably keep people updated on upcoming events at some of the locations you have listed. That'll get you return visitors as they'll come back to see what events to plan for.

Thanks for the feedback. I've made some updates to the site so let me know what you think:

    ePartyGuide.com

P.S. Does anyone have a nightlife related site that would like to exchange links?

    Thanks,

I've had around 1,100 page views and 250 visitors since the site launched 1 month ago. For the database I actually integrate with another site that provides the business listings, so I don't have to maintain the business listings. I keep the reviews and events in my database.

    I like the design.

I think the text in the banner is a little .. big? I dunno. Also the city names are large and in charge. If thats what your going for then you accomplished it. I run a real crisp and small style of text for my screens. I do like the design of the site though. How do you plan on attracting reviews? And establishing Legit ones from just angry clubgoers

I looked at your site. Good thing is it is not so congested.

    Suggestions:
1.) Shift some links to the top..maybe to right corner. Links like: Home, Faq, Contact
2.) Change the look of "Bars by City" and "Night Clubs by City" Listings. Right now they resemble advertisements. It took me sometime before I realized that they were a part of your site and not advertisements.

Rests looks nice to me right now. Will come up later if I get something in mind.

    Overall ...nice website .
