***UPDATE*** I found one, and I thought I would share it with you all. It is a shopping cart (free), that is remotely hosted (free), that has an affiliate program you can "attach" to your shopping cart (also free). Each affiliate has an admin area (free), and the signup is remotely hosted (free) and automated (also free).
This service is awesome. It took me maybe an hour to get everything set up, and I'm ready to get affiliates promoting my site and my shopping cart is ready to go - for free!
They also have a paid option (which is only $6/month!!!) that allows you to process credit cards (!!) without using a service like paypal (!!!) through their merchant account (!!!!). I am signing up for their paid service ASAP.
Oh, and there free service isn't some trial thing. It doesn't have limited functions either. This is a full powered shopping cart & affiliate program, with options to the gills. The only thing the free version doesn't do is process payments, and there is a very small text link on all their pages. But for only $6 a month you can process credit cards AND get rid of that link. I think this service is absolutely top notch and I can't believe I found it!

Hi everyone. I'm looking for something and I was hoping you could help. I'm looking for an affiliate script to manage my affiliate program. There are only three requirements. It cannot automatically pay people through paypal or other payment processors, because I mail checks. It cannot use a MySQL database, because my hosting won't support any more than I already have. And, it has to be free.

There is no room left in the marketing budget to buy a script, and I hate buying without trying it out first. A natural instinct of buyer beware, I suppose.

If anyone knows of a decent script, please let me know.

Sorry - its really not an ad at all, like I said I'm not affiliated with them in any way. I just thought this was a great resource.

I have never posted a single ad on this site. Not one. Nothing I have posted on this site will give me any financial gain, what-si-ever! I promise!

I'm probably just still in "ad mode" from writing some ads for clients and finishing up a few sections of my new site.

What happens if they go out of business? Your site goes down....your storefront closes and you have nothing...no thanks - I'll go with ZenCart or Mambo where I OWN the code, and if something goes wrong with my host, i can just move it somewhere else - but I am never at risk of loosing my livelihood.

I see your point, and it is a valid one. But I feel it is worth the risk... Afterall, if they shut down I can just go find someone else. Nobody seems to be able to match their service. At least, I haven't found one. And from what I've seen on their website they've been in business since at least 1998. So I think its fairly safe... But yes, I do see your point.
