I wouldn't. Not with how easy it is to do video chats online with services like skype, etc. that are free.

what about the people who dont have access to internet? wouldnt a phone card be the cheapest way?
Phone cards went the way of the Skytel pagers
wow... that was a very bad racist remark u made there..
I'm from chicago and there are all sorts of people who dont have access to internet..or have any idea on how to use a computer.. instead they use phone cards to communicate.. my question to you all is.. how do I promote the phone cards..
Only a low minded-person can actually say or think something like this. It's even more stupid if you start categorize the entire continent of Africa, not has access to the Internet. It's like saying that the people of Asia or South America have no access to the Internet.
Africa is made up of different countries, and just like in America, not everyone is the same. Some are poor, some are average and some are rich.
Plus, have you seen any web site owned and developed by people in Africa? There're tons of successful Internet entrepreneurs from Africa.
The second tourist in Space was Mark, an Internet billionaire entrepreneur from South Africa.
Oh, by the way, have you checked out Afrigator (www.afrigator.com), it's an African blog aggregator, listed in INC and Fortune as one of the 30 fastest growing net companies.
Looking at it, i guess that says that people in Africa have no access to the Internet?
Just plain stupid. I am disappointed in you for thinking like that, Paint and Air Sportz.

I agree with u usakos. That is extremely racist of you paint and air sportz. Who are you to despise people from Africa and make them as a subject of your immature racist comment? That is plain stupid.

I really dont care if i generalized an entire comment, the majority of africa doesnt even have accsess to drinking. And i dont see how saying people in africa would be your market if you wanted to sell calling cards because just about every other continent/country in the world wouldnt really have a use for them.
Bite me its not being racist, its a fact that most people in africa dont have access to landlines/cellphones and they would be your main market. And if your in the states you can buy phonecards at any convince store, every 7-11 has them hell i have a box fully of proably a 100 or so phone cards from earlier promotions a couple years ago but whos gonna use them.
The only type of phone cards i could see being sold in the states would be those for pre paid cellphones.
Paint and Airsports that was a very bad comment you made, you sounded like a spoilt brat!
Im guessing you have never been to africa, I have, and you have obviously only seen africa on tv or in the news who all talk about the bad poverty there. Yes there is alot of poverty there. But there is also a hell of alot of great places and rich people there too!
Let's please keep the fighting down.
seungbongpark, if you are selling phone cards, you are going to want to target individuals who have emigrated to the United States, and are calling relatives back home. This market is huge, and has the largest userbase for phone cards. Additionally, senior citizens tend to like phone cards, as do frequent travelers - those are both good secondary markets.
Are Phone cards needed now. Over here in Australia most people who need phone cards use epay (or is that what you are calling phone cards)
