I started an LLC in 2006, thinking that if you moved, all you had to do was tranfer things to a different state. I had not done much with the LLC yet.... was about to, yet I have moved. I was told by one, that I would need to dissolve my companies that I opened in the other state and start new ones from where I was. How would one keep legal track of things though? As by putting the products/ services under the name of the LLC, is how you stay protected. I suppose that you could transfer "ownership" of products/ designs/ services/ etc.... to the name of a new LLC that you start up, and then dissolve the other one. Yet...is there an easier/ better way to do all this? As I would not want to need to have concern about moving. And my business is not something like a restaurant, where you need to stay in it's location. I work at home, and my "business" can be from anywhere currently. I just need to make sure things stay legal, etc...with an LLC, even if I continue to travel. Thanks!
