    LLC start up

I will obtain my state identification number, do I have to get a EIN number if I don't plan on having employees for awhile?
If you're slowing me down then get out of my way, If not then I'm running you over

You should. EIN is your overall Tax ID for everything the business does, not just for hiring employees. If you do anything that revolves around earning income or paying expenses, it'll come into play.

Yeah totally agree with the previous individual. You should get it to avoid future complications or hassles when the time does come to expand your operations. It's easier on you and your future partners etc. when demand increases suddenly and you need certain legal things such as EIN. Good luck!
