    LLC Question please help

My website is still in development, have not made any cash, moving soon and all out of money. LLC State Tax is $800.00 minimum and I cannot afford that so If I short case my LLC (cancel it) can I re-register it under the same name again a couple of months from now? How long will that name show up as already register after cancellation?

    Much appreciated

I think it varies from state to state. Thank you for reminding me, I had to renew mine for this year. Mine was only $138

California is the most expensive. I suggest Nevada.

Yes I live in California and a hour away from Nevada, I will look into that for sure. Thanks for your feedback.

    Interesting,

If you start a business, and your website is not even complete, don't waste the money on starting an LLC or other corporation, just start a DBA which is the least expensive option, perfect for startups.

    Good luck,

Ditto on canceling the LLC. The only reason for an LLC is to shield your personal assets. Unless you have a website that is going to get you sued there isn't any reason to have it.
