Liquidating product...suggestions?

I own a company that makes a safe and effective cough syrup for children. our target consumer is mothers 24-40 in age who have children. We have some product sitting in our warehouse and would like to offer it online at a discount or liquidation sale. Are there any good sites that we can list or post coupons to?

We are thinking bout offering either a buy one get one bottle or a free bottle, just pay for shipping costs. We want to get the word out about it. Any suggestions?

If you are trying to promote your product, offer the free bottle (just pay shipping and handling.) I would say offer this deal on your website if you have one. You might offer it to local retailers for free just to get it on the shelf. You might even speak with local doctor's offices and see if you could leave some for them to hand out.

If you are trying to liquidate the product I would say give it to local orphanages, etc. People look positively on a company that makes generous donations.
