    Legal Wholesale/ retail info.

I have a product and a supplier but no business (.Ltd, .co etc.)
Can I e-mail retailers straight away and start sellling/trying to sell or do I have to do any legal stuff( such as create a business or copyright my product etc.)

I welcome any input because law isn't my strong point and I know nothing roght now.

i don't know where are you based, but I will suggest you register a company that will give people credence and confidence. if you reach big retailer, you must able to show your expertise and competitive since they don't worry about getting suppliers.

i am laso in the process of setting up a HK company.

    good luck!

If you are going to sell anything to another business you would look more credible if you had a business set up rather then just selling out of the back of you truck. You can set up a business for little to nothing and it does not take very long.
Also if you have a product to sell is this a new product. Why would people buy from you. Have you worked on a sales pitch. If I may ask what is the product. I own a business and always looking for new products. Let me know what you have.
