    Lead generation services. opinions? experiences?

    Greets fellow YE's

Im hoping I can get some insight from you today in regards to a topic I have been exploring this last week.

We are int he middle of restructuring our services, working with a consultant to redo all of our corporate material, and position ourselves in the market where we have identified a huge gap. Bottom line is: We have identified a huge need and we are able to fulfill that need.

Our company is positioned to see extreme growth over the next 24 months. However, and this is not to sound incompetent, we need lead generation and/or lead qualification. Our sales cycle will be around 90 days and closing ratio will be very high if we can get in the right doors.

SO. I am considering lead generation or lead qualification services outsourced to another company(we dont have the budget for an in-house call center).

Lead generation- They basically cold call for you and try to get them interested and arrange an appointment for your sales team to get in there. I am not overly thrilled with the idea of individuals not IN our company representing our company. They need deep understanding of our vision, mission, culture, and more importantly our solutions. Since we are an IT company providing medium-large companies with networking and infrastructure solutions that are not the norm for our local market it seems like a disaster waiting to happen. It also seems expensive. how much time and resources would it take to train their representatives on all of our solutions in-depth?

Lead qualification- They call and do a survey type thing to find out the companies facts(the ones we need to know) then they turn the data over to our sales team. Now, people hate surveys, but they also hate cold calls. this should be a lot less expensive, and not near as much training of staff would be required. Also they are not calling to represent our company. However it might not see as many results(or possibly more?)

I would like some feedback on the following:
1)Out of the two options above what is your opinions?
2)Have you tried either or both? What type of results did you see?
3)Any idea on the costs involved?
    4)recommended companies/people to contact

I havent contacted any firms yet because I am still doing my research. it looks like finding a price is not going to happen unless you talk to them.

    Appreciate your time folks!

Leads are usually generated in a variety of ways that includes using dialing systems and other methods like quality email marketing , banner ads, affiliate publishers, pop ups and various other strategies. These services are mainly offered with the purpose that applicants, who are actually searching for similar services or products on the Internet, become your new customers; as targeted websites are usually at the basis of lead generation. Lead Generation is considered to be one of the vital procedures required for the success of a business. To put in a layman's term, it is the creation of a list of potential business sales leads within a particular company's industry or target market. But of course the process is not very simple for the service providers as it might look. Lead Generation services are based on tested and efficient telemarketing services that provide authentic and up-to-date reports. This constant source of sales contacts will ultimately help businesses in the long run to increase the concerned organization's sales and productivity and maintain a steady business flow.
