    Law Degree

Anyone out there getting one? Why are you getting one? What do you hope to accomplish with it? Do you want to be an attorney or just use the knowledge in business?

have one, and would advise against it if you want to use it in business. there are other ways to develop similar skills which are a lot less expensive and take less time. most lawyers i know would agree. that being said, i find some of what i have learned quite useful in business.

Read books, take individual classes at your local college or university, etc. It's all what you put into it. I debated this path also, but decided on an MBA......I took a few classes at the Law school and felt this was what I needed without going through the other classes I didn't need.

The Entrepreneur's guide to business Law is a great book...........check it out.

I'm interested in busienss law, but not sure about studying it.. Would you say that it is OK to just get accountants and attorneys to deal with all of the law side to the business? Or would it be best to have studied law?
    Thankyou for help
