    Kiva.org : Non-Profit Organization - Please Donate

I have just finished watching this special on tv about the website http://www.kiva.org/ . This is an amazing website where people in the US can provide a small micro loan to people of third world countries so they can start their own business. All you do is provide a few hundred dollars to a entrepreneur in need. Give them the small funds they need. Give them the taste of the American Dream. Please donate generously, just a few hundred bucks can change many lives.

    Thank You
    Matt

Poor African businessmen / women cannot get loans to start small businesses. So Kiva posts a picture of themselves and provide their story and how much they need. They pay do you back. Not everything in life its about money, sometimes is just about caring for others. If you want to donate to the organization itself, there is a donate button on the homepage. The organization itself is made up of 7 people.

let me correct myself, what keeps this non-profit organization alive, is the donations to the website itself. These guys don't make a living or salary off this website. It all goes back into the organization.

I have been using Kiva for several months. It is a very rewarding way to give back to those in need and support entrepreneurs. And it also makes a great gift for someone, giving a KIVA gift certificate.

I wrote a small writeup about Kiva on my blog and at ambitionwise several weeks ago.

Well if I were rich I would certainaly donate. If I make £10,000 by the end of this year real estate wholesaling I'll stick in £200 (roughly $392).

Kiva is a really great program. They have not defaulted on a single loan and most importantly you help true entrepreneurs. These people have to hustle everyday in order to survive.
