    Question Keeping your idea safe

I have, what seems like, a great idea for a business in my local area but am not sure how to go about getting it off the ground. It would involve me needing a decent amount of money to start but am not sure how I go about finding people to help me getting my business off the ground (this would be my first business) without spending a ton of money but my main problem is how do I keep my idea safe? Thanks.

I will have to tell you that its not the idea, so much as it is the execution that needs to be kept safe. I had the same issue only to find other people had thought of it, but they failed because it wasnt executed properly. Investors are not really going to sign a NDA with no proven revenues on the idea, because they risk getting sued in alot of ways. The reason ideas are not so unique is look at nike/converse or google/alta vista. One did better than the other but one started after the other, how? I would say get a part time job and invest in your business to get the ball rolling. It may take a while but when you start covering some ground you will be in a better position to find money or even better it will find you. I hope for the best.

I think that you can't keep the idea safe at all..
If you can think of it, surely there will be others around the world that probably had thought of it even before you..

The only difference you can make is a strong Unique Selling Proposition that creates an identity or character of your idea & your business..
