Just got invovled in new business 100K/wk

So I just got involved in a new business/ lifestyle change and wanted to know what the entrepreneur world thinks. My buddies dad owns a company called isagenix. It is basically a meal supplement program (2 shakes a day and one 400-600 calorie meal). This is the 30 day fat burning program. I am about 40 lbs overweight and am constantly go back and forth gaining and losing pounds. I have such a struggle with maintaining a regimen with food. My friend suggested that i try his family's product and absolutly feel in love with it. I have been on it now for about 2 weeks and have lost 13.5lbs. I feel great, the shakes taste great (not like the chalky protein ones i have had in the past), my energy level is high. So he asked me if I wanted to be on the business side of it. I was sceptical at first, then he said it was 30$ a year and whomever i referred would help build up BV(business value) and i would in turn get a percent. I would get the same percent on people they would refer. I told him that it was a glorified pyramid scheme, he laughed and said basically, but your helping people become healthier. Their top salesman is 77 years old, has been working for them for only 4 years and makes 100K a week... yes a week. I really dont have the time or energy it takes to become a multi-millionaire selling this stuff, but its definitely healthy, affordable, great tasting and works. My friend told me to go to the isagenix website and check it out. Anyways, if anybody wants any information about becoming healthy and wealthy (lol.. thats pretty good) post back.

This product has been endorsed by many world-renown professionals including:

John D. Gray Ph. D.Author of Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus and The Mars & Venus Diet & Exercise Solution... "Isagenix will not only help people lose weight, but also improve their relationships. Isagenix is the first product that I whole-heartedly endorse."

Jack Canfield - Author of "Chicken Soup for the Healthy Soul" says..Helping people to achieve physical health, dynamic longevity and financial wealth is a lofty goal, but it is a goal that is being accomplished every day by thousands of people-people who have discovered the ISAGENIX™ Cleansing and Fat Burning System.

Anyways.. this thread is serious if your serious.

Thanks for reading and if you have any questions please post.

    Hahahahaha. Yeah, good one.

Just the other day, I let my winning powerball ticket expire because who has time to be bothered going down to the office to fill out the claim form?

Thanks for taking the time to come and post this "opportunity", though.

I am really more in it from a health standpoint. I dont have the time it takes to build a business to that point.

All that energy and you can't keep up with a 77 year old? Just do 3% of what he is doing and you'll be in six figures- if he is working 50 hour weeks (pretty good for an old dude) you'd only have to put in 1.5 hours a week to pull in $3K a week.

I am always skeptical of people who want to sell me an opportunity they themselves won't do- and that has worked out pretty well so far- I fail to see how this is any different.

Didn't the folks at Slim-Fast do this already?
Conservative opinions from someone who thinks a little differently than most.

It doest quite break down that way. Hours worked doesnt equal money made. Especially when your talking about the number one salesman for a billion dollar company. Obviously this person has 60 some odd years of networking/sales/marketing ability. But, i figured i would start w/ myself, then family, friends.. ect.

When one of the top-ranking sites on Google (Australian version at least) is bagging a product, one has to worry: Fighting Spurious Complementary & Alternative Medicine (SCAM): Critique of Isagenix
Why do I value the opinion of this site over the others that rank? Because this is the only site on the first page of Google not trying to sell a product, and didn't pay for ranking.

In any case, even a cursory glance shows that this stuff works by basically being a low calorie (aka starvation) diet, that would appear to be primarily based of celery fibers and a few other trace elements to prevent people from becoming vitamin deficient.

Sure, you'll probably make a heap of money selling it.
There's always a market for weight loss products because people are quintessentially lazy and won't get off their arse to take a swim or a jog...
But you're basically promoting medically unsound dietary habits along with it.

There are different health and wellness programs within Isagenix. The one that I am particularly on is a 30 day fat burning diet. It is definitely NOT a starvation diet by any means. I am never starving.. it is a very well balenced diet.

All formulas have been created by John Anderson, who has been a worldwide private-label manufacturer since 1980 and has formulated and manufactured more than 2,300 different nutritional and weight-loss products for more than 600 companies in 27 countries. John is a master formulator. His products are internationally recognized and respected as the most effective products on the market today. At Isagenix, John has reserved the best. Isagenix products are made to be state-of-the art and effective.

This link shows Roy Williams (Dallas Cowboys) w/ product...MLM Business Opportunities Blog | Dallas Cowboy, Roy Williams Shows Off His Isagenix on MTV Cribs

This is also endorsed and used by evander holyfield.

So, would Roy Williams, Evander Holyfield, John Gray(author of "Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus", Jack Canfield (author of "Chicken Soup for the Healthy Soul") really promote a starvation diet.

It is a healthy dietary plan for people looking to either lose wieght, be healthy, or both.

Celebrity endorsements might work on the general public (although most are wise to how the world works), but we all know they are paid to shill these products- nothing more. Find me a celebrity who uses it and isn't getting paid and then I'll pay attention. Oh wait- there aren't any. This just isn't the forum to promote MLM deals.
