    Joint venture based on recognition?

Is it possible if I have not enough money to put into the production of a product, to form a joint venture with the production/manufacturing company where they will produce the product for me for little to no cost, in return they will put their logo on all the products??

Possibly. Depends on what product you are dealing with obviously. If you need money, you can always resort to very early stage venture capitalists. But I think your plan is strong, so try your best to negotiate it.

I would give it less then 1% of a chance. No one works for free and no one wants to put their name on any old product. You have to ask yourself this question - Why would the company do this with you when they could do it on their own. What special skill or asset do you bring to the table that they do not already have? Once you have that point then you have something to sell them.

A better plan would be to find out what it will cost to do your production run and then WORK to get the money you need to make it happen. I know the word 'work' is an evil word on this forum as everyone thinks you can make money with out doing any... I'm here to tell you that's not the case...

Sorry to bust your bubble... but if you want something work for it and it will be yours.

You do have a point there. I'm waiting on a few estimates right now so I guess I will see what the costs are and go from there.
