Ive great idea, any interested investors on here?

Hi, My names Alex and im 22 years old... I really like the Car that Chevrolet has been building for over 40 years.... the Camaro.

With that said... I know there are MILLIONS of camaro enthusiast...
And alot of theese people will be more than happy to pay $100 to take one of the new 2010 SS Camaros for a spin. we could limit the time to 30 minutes. or an hour. but in almost every major city im sure you could rent one out non stop for 8 hours or more. and you could easily pay for that car in 3 weeks. alls that i need is advertising and a few camaros to start out with. I can sell the car. After all the car sells it self, I mean C,mon, its the NEW 2010 CAMARO!!!!!! what more could you w ant... its a corvet for less than half the price. it has Full 4 wheel independant suspension, a motor that puts out 425 horsepower, and has gas mileage of 24 mpg highway. it has a cockpit that no other car has, its completly exclusive to the new camaro. not to mention the look.... $100 to take a car like that for a 30 minute fun run is better than any GO-cart track you could ever go to., plus you can go pick up a couple friends, because it has a back seat.

im sure ads on the local radio stations will be enough to get people down there, or even on craigslist too.

basicaly i just told everyone my idea, and i have no way to stop you from helping me, and just making all the money yourself...
because i have no money, and no camaro... but if you think i can make you some money, invest $35,000 in me, im sure i can have most of it back in a month.

I know there's a company that does this kind of thing with exotic cars (Ferrari's, Lambo's, etc.). You might want to do some research on them and see how they operate. It's not a bad idea but if something like that isn't planned out very carefully, I can see it being a big loss of money.

I think it's an awesome idea! Would you plan on renting out other cars as well?

haha yeah try to see over your fanaticism to the Camaro (I used have a passion for them too) and actually do a research on how you will run the business. Its just not that easy.

Yes, thorough business planning is a MUST. I think he could start with the one car in one area and then develop his own niche kind of like Gene was hinting around towards. If he can make this successful in one area, then you can easily expand it to other areas as you already have been through the process and know what and what not to do.

What??? It's called a rental car company... You basically want someone to buy you a new camero so you can try to rent it???? Are you crazy?? Where is your office located... what is your advertising budget? How are you going to pay for the insurance which is going to be OUTRAGEOUS...

Go get a loan... then try the venture.. no one with any money is going to give this a single thought

i know its a shot in the dark, but i got to start somewhere, i can go get a camaro FInanced, and Rent it out with out them knowing, but man is that risky.... i figured ide jsut ride with the driver, and make sure i have the advantage at all times... like a tzer or something... also i have to be prepared to grab the wheel, and maybe even have a remote button for the brakes... that way i could prevent an accident, or slow him down if he goes too fast.

by the way i have no idea how to run a business.. im just a mechanic, and a wannabe businessman.

No one wants to rent a car and then have you sit in it with them... Every rental car company in the country will have this car in their fleet... There is nothing to be done with this idea

If you had some more money, you could rent out a top of the line car....I'm talking like a million dollar car. You would probably get a much larger response about something like that.

it really doesnt matter what you do for a living, just do your research(market, viability, expenses, competition) and youll see if the idea actually has potential. If you love what you do why not look and try to solve a problem you face everyday as a mechanic? or maybe look for a business in the automotive industry that has no competition in your local region. Something innovative that you can proof has a long term market potential.

This idea, considering you have no dealer or any other competition will only be worth for 2-3 months. Instead of paying $100 I would just wake up, have breakfast, head down to the local dealer and ask for a test drive.

    Good luck man,
