    It's Time For Smart Marketing.

I met with two new clients this week who wanted to know the exact same thing. How do we market in this economy? Should we market at all? The answer to the second question is a big fat yes, and we'll discuss why next week.

The answer to the first question? It is the fundamental issue facing any small business right now. There's less money to spend out there, and that means everyone will be competing harder for each dollar.

It's not about whether or not to market. You have to keep connecting with customers if you expect them to do business with you. It's about how to market smart. It's about making every last marketing dollar count. And it's about keeping your offerings relevant as things change.

This is going to be my focus in the days and weeks ahead, so keep checking in, ask a lot of questions, and join in the conversation.
