It’s a small world after all… an interesting way of doing business

Indeed, it is a small world, and this was my most important lesson while working two and a half years for an Airline in South America, at an airport, meeting many people who traveled back and forth doing business, working for some big company or by themselves, watching air cargo moving commerce just about anywhere, with people taking advantage of places where it does not cost a lot to produce, to sell where people are willing to pay a lot. This was what helped me decid to go into business myself, establishing these contacts and selling just about anything (obviously in a small scale). I was able to save some money and now I am studying Economics in Italy.
This is why I thought about joining places where people have this “alchemist spirit” of turning just about anything that comes to mind into gold (well, maybe not gold, but you what I mean… earn a few bucks), try to expand these ideas, maybe get new partners, maybe reach places I never though about reaching, or maybe reaching the right person for the right business, you never know.
Just as a reference, if anyone might be interested, I established contacts with small industries in my country (Paraguay) who work with diverse sectors, which go from leather, food, textiles, wood, arts & crafts, silver jewelry, musical instruments, among others. Some of the main products which I sold went from leather seats for small Cessna aircrafts, leather golf bags, leather horse-riding seats, canned “heart of palm”, yerba mate (a South American tea-like infusion), wood floors, wood carved crafts, hand embroidered shirts, Paraguayan harps and guitars, and several others. Most of these can be seen at the website where I sell these products (http://www.ekatoo.com), but for any ideas you might have to start your own business at home with any of these products, or any other information you might need, or just about anything that comes to mind about it, please don’t hesitate in contacting. Prices at my country are very convenient, and my airport experience has granted me advantages in shipping costs as well. Think about it, it could be interesting.
