I just saw some program on TV, they were talking about the Bird Flue and how it might evolve into a pandemic, or it might not. However, the program was trying to make a point that a pandemic will happen sooner or later.

so this got me thinking, what am I going to do when a pandemic happen? is my business going to survive it?

lets say there is a pandemic, it would probably last about 12-18 month. within this time period, all borders will most likely be shut down. That would cause a huge problem since most business now depends on just in time delivery. and 99% of the business depends on some sort of importing / exporting one way or another. but nothing will get in or out of any country due to borders shutting down.

So a pandemic will cause a global economy crash, which i doubt much business can survive a 12-18 month economy crash.

Furthermore, during a pandamic there is going to be a shortage of everything around the world, and people are going to put all their money and effort into securing their most basic needs such as food, water, shelter ect....So that would mean almost all the high tech business that does not revolve around those basic needs will most likey go out of business.

on top of all that, there is probably going to be lots of riots and it would be a total chaos.

so guys.. how are our business ever going to survive a Pandemic if it ever happen?
