I wouldn't say the blind leading the blind, but there's certainly inexperienced input. Of course, I don't think that's a bad thing. There's a lot to be gained from other people's opinions, it's just that we all have the onus to weigh up the options laid before us.

No, but I think you have a huge ego problem.

Hmm...maybe, just maybe! You know; since most millionaire entrepreneurs probably don't feel the need to come here.

I think this is a great networking opportunity, and a cool place to bounce ideas off others, I think that all advice given on this site should be taken into consideration, but should be the basis of any of our future goals, this website can be useful as the members make it

Maybe instead of blind accusations about inexperienced people giving advice, you should give examples of what you are talking about.

good observation

I kinda grew up on buddhism and martial art where the destruction of ego is a central philosophy.

I guess that's why I was drawn to entrepreneurship because it's an exercise in external focus rather than internal (i.e. it's the customers, shareholders and employees who matter - not me).

yet, I've found that business has this dichotomy that egotism must co-exist with selflessness.

Is it just me, or do you guys also find yourselves becoming more selfish the longer you do ventures?

I'll try to be more thorough if time permits.

I think part of it is due to success and it is likely a side effect of success, as you have been successful. I also believe in the defeat of the ego but it's not as easy as you think.

I agree.
But I have experience myself, so no worries there.

I find myself subscribing more and more to charity as i am coming up in the world. In terms of business sense i would say that i have realist and idealist traits and to a certain degree a bit to selfishness with respect to how i use and leverage my time for business ventures.

Akula, if i could peg your mindset i would say you are that of an investor. Could be wrong but just saying.
