I was just wondering...Is it possible to become a teenage Avon, Mary Kay, .etc representative? I've heard about teenage reps, but I don't know how to become one, be successful, .etc.

Are any of you teenage Avon, Mary Kay, .etc reps, or know of a teenage rep? If it is possible, I also need some help trying to convince my parents that it's a good business venture. Any ideas?

It's funny you asked this. My girlfriend just showed me a little packet she got from a Mary Kay rep. It was filled with lotion and smell good stuff samples, a magnet, and some other stuff.

Anyways, why do you need to convince your parents? Are they giving you the start-up $$$?

No, because I was reading this business book for teens, and it had a story about a teenager, I think she was 14 or 15. Her parent/s had to sign the checks in order to buy the advertising materials, products, .etc. But the teen did all of the work, and she paid her parents all of the money that she owed them for the advertising materials, products, .etc. That's why I need to convince my parents.

Unfortunately, I lost the book, so I'm pretty angry, since I could've just read the story to get info on how to be a rep.

You could probably just find a regular Avon rep and ask them for some numbers and make some calls. A few Google searches could help also. I would think selling this stuff to teens would be even easier than adults. Probably a pretty good venture.

I tried searching on Google, like for Teen Avon Reps or Teen Mary Kay Reps, .etc. First before I call anyone, I need to find out more information about it, to see if it's right for me, and to convince my parents to sign the checks. I tried the Avon website, but they didn't have much info about becoming a Rep. I also tried Mary Kay, not much either. Any websites that have, sort of guides, how-tos, or just more information?

How do you open a cosmetics e-shop? What website do you go to? Would I buy the cosmetics cheap and new on e-bay, and sell them in an e-shop?

Why would you want to get started in MLM as a kid? That's generally reserved for older people who don't have a clue to what they are doing and believe they will strike it rich. As someone who is lucky enough to be growing up in the information age, you should know by now that you can make a few thousand dollars a month, at least, with some websites that pay on the pay per click ads or sell some type of product or service. Seriously.. leave that MLM stuff to the old people who watch too many infomercials at 4am.
