Is it necessary to hire a sales manager?

I am starting up a sales company this spring, startup costs are low, but in terms of hiring a sales manager. For a student i am on budget so i am thinking of co-operating with somebody whos experienced in sales, perhaps a sale manager. Although, i am not experienced in managing a team, the free lancers i have been managing have been so far so good. Would it be wise to try and hire a team of sales and manage them myself? Or just hire a sales manager to do the work for me. What are the pros and cons?

There's certainly going to be costs and employment labor laws involved if you're hiring these people directly. You may want to consider still using freelancers so that you're only paying for their services.
If you still want to have employees, you may want to consult a lawyer to see what's involved; again due to labor laws in your region.
