Are there many opportunities to buy things on eBay and then re-sell them? It seems risky to rely on finding lucky deals. That's not to say you shouldn't jump on the deals that you come by, but you might wanna have an alternate source of income. I say that even though your only 15 since you said you needed 20k by the end of high school I figured you need it for college or something important. If your just looking for some petty cash then go for it, or hit up yard sales, flea markets, blah blah blah you've probably heard it all before. But there are actually deals out there that you can flip for some extra coin on eBay

Source smart and there's plenty of opportunities there.
If you want to be rich, sell products and services.
If you want to be insanely rich, create and control markets.

I would rather look on craigslist for deals. Of course never make a transaction on craiglist without someone with you. You can find lots of stuff on there that people are trying to get rid of fast and you can often negotiate. I didnt do it for money, but I bought a potters wheel for $450 on craigslist, and six months later sold it for $600 when I was moving. I also bought a treadmill that a guy wanted to get rid of for $175 and I dont doubt for a second I could get at least $250 for it if I wanted to sell it. Also, and I'm not suggesting you do this because I've never done it, but it seems like it would be easy to do, buying hot tickets to concerts and shows that you know will sell out, and then reselling them on ebay or craigslist could make some money. I'm not sure if its legal, but people do it all the time.
