Investing real estate in Spain is a good idea

I like spain very much and have travelled there for more than once. Especially, barcelona impresses me most. Enjoying the beautiful beaches and breathing in the pure air, very comfortable and stimulating. Owning property in barcelona is my dream, its transportation is very convenient and the people there are very kind and open-minded. Moreover, there's an excellent environment for investing and living there, so, setting up my own business in spain is my ideal dream. Now I am looking for suitable property, any suggestions you can provide for me? Thanks a lot.

Try going to remax or some other large real estate house and looking for listings in the area in which you want to invest in. Before doing that however I would also suggest looking into other aspects that you might want to consider for an investment your own perceptions of the place (i.e. economy, political environment, social environment, do you know anything about real estate, foreign ownership and the list goes on and on and on.)

I would also like to have something in Spain. I am going to Spain in 2 weeks (Yay!). It's my understanding that like everywhere else. Location is going to be a huge part of the pricing... I would suggest Remax or Coldwell(sp?). Honestly though I believe Coldwell is going to provide you more luxurious locations. I would suggest searching for "Spanish Real Estate" or anything like that and see what you can find for the Barcelona Area. Just make sure you keep in mind the currency exchange, especially if you are going to be renting or anything like that because you can essentially make yourself a small fortune in USD from the EU in my opinion. I will look around myself since this interests me and anything I find I will either post here or pm you. I support your idea, I guess the next thing is to check laws and such also.

    Property Investing In Spain

If you’re looking to purchase property as a long term investment in Spain this is the time to do it, right now it is very much a buyers market and there are bargains to be had. Look at a place called Murcia it isn’t as developed as the rest of Spain as yet and is really up and coming as a golfers paradise. But be very very careful where you buy and make sure you do your research, lets just say there are some crafty bastards out there that will well and truly fuck you over by selling houses which have no planning permission, on illegal land etc Be careful where you buy, do your research and you could hit the jackpot.

Mate it is up to you but i have recently read an article suggesting that the real estate market in spain uk and other areas around europe is about to go into its first step of decline. I suggest that you do a lot of research on this subject before you fully go ahead.
