Now is the best time to buy in the stock market, however you can also lose it all. You have to invest in companies that you know will never go out of business.

So would you think that a company that will never go out of business be any of the following...

    GM
    AIG
    American Airlines (soon)
    Bear Stearns
    Freddie Mac
    Fanny Mae
    WaMu
1000+ other Banks (gone in 08)
    Blockbuster
    RiteAid

Most likely... so the solution is, take classes, learn everything you can, be patient, it is a good time to invest in stocks but you NEED TO KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING. You are taking classes so keep it up. You are on the right track. Remember, stock brokers make commissions on opening/closing trades not whether their recommendations profit. So be careful who you listen to.

I'm too scared...too risky in my opinion. What goes down though, usually does go back up. Probably the right time to buy
