Videos that are uploaded online that are of low-quality and use those crappy mega-pixels.

As an HDTV enthusiast, I'm against low-quality video.

I don't care if it comes from a mere cell phone. Looking at that stuff makes me vomit. It just makes the world look plain ugly.

And that's what grinds my gears about the internet.

Competition is a lot more aggressive online than locally but I only see that as a better & bigger challenge

and seeing people come up with a dumb idea and some how they still make millions off of it but hey if it works why not.

Actually its been proven safer to use your credit card online than using it at local stores and stuff but I guess I can see why they would be scared due to the amount of fraudulent sites popping up.

I think the biggest problem doing business on the internet is the lack of the contact with the customer, since internet is based only on written word, pictures, sounds, videos, thats why it is very important to have good website design. Also your website should be constructed in the way of its serving purpose.
Other big problem is that big percentage of potential customers will not find you, just because they may typed wrong keyword in search engine or etc., or maybe you just will attract random people who don't even care what you are offering, but todays technologies are able to reduce those numbers.
Also it is proven that most of the users on the internet are looking for a free content not for a some kind of service or merchandise. Just imagine big companies like Amazon and Ebay whose stocks are pretty strong probably attract all that little percentage of those customers who are shopping online. I am not saying that is bad to do biz online, its actually good, but you will meet different type of challenges then in real life business.

    I agree!

It would be great to see a new file type that compresses video a lot, but without the quality loss.

Geez guys you can't have it all. If it's a problem then go fix it - I'm sure you could sell the technology and get rich off it.

If you don't want to see low quality video restrain yourself to high quality sources. I could start complaining about ugly low-quality websites but then I'd have to go offline completely Get out there and start fixing it!

What I hate most is that there's all this new technology yet we haven't quite come up with the rules for this new technology. The way we communicate with others has changed but there is no one set rules for doing this; do you e-mail your co-worker or text? Should you make a powerpoint presentation as your resume or stick to the old way? Things of this nature.

What I hate most is bad information that floats forever through cyberspace....

One person will post some BS information and another will come along and copy and paste it everywhere.

Now you have millions of mis-information articles floating around and people read it and believe it..

Now you have tons of mis-informed people who think they know it all!

One of the first things you learned when the internet was starting to gain popularity in the mid to late 90's was that it is not a credible source of information. Anyone can make a page and make stuff up.
I remember in high school many teachers wouldn't let us use internet sources for reports.
Don't know if this is the case anymore or if people still get this message.

I agree. There are teachers webpages kids can goto now for factual information in school. Basically inhouse intranet encyclopedias. When I was in college, the teachers used to get pissed when anyone handed a paper in from misinformation off the internet. They always knew who got their info from the internet and who actually did research.

Yes, I agree. Like a plane, the statistics doesn't placate the public much. But its inching its ground.
